PLDP

The Physician Leadership Development Program (PLDP) is a cohort model of learning for current and aspiring physician leaders. Created and managed by physicians, this program brings together physicians from across the enterprise to learn from each other along with experts in their field around topics that matter most for physician leaders. 

Participants meet for four intensive 3-day workshops culminating in a group capstone project that directly impacts the Nemours enterprise. Successful projects are implemented enterprise-wide with support services.

Nemours Certified Manager

LEADER

The Leadership Experience And Educational Roadmap (LEADER) Program is a fully integrated leadership development program for all leaders. The LEADER Program offers two tracks – Nemours Certified Manager and Nemours Certified Physician Manager – and provides a learning and leadership community that thrives inside and outside of the classroom.

Whether you are new to leadership, a mid-career level leader, or a seasoned veteran, the self-paced LEADER Program offers a full curriculum of leadership courses that meet learners where they are.


HORIZONS

An 18-month program designed for associates seeking a higher level of organizational exposure, professional development, and focused career progression that is on a non-leadership track. This program brings into action associate skills, current knowledge base, innate talent and intrinsic preferences for a non-traditional learning approach that intentionally shifts each participant from classroom to experiential learning. It offers a strategic approach in career mapping by utilizing capabilities assessments, development coaching, mentorship opportunities, and innovative learning tactics and development approaches.

The Horizons Program will not only allow participants to see the vast number of career advancement opportunities at Nemours, but will also expand their personal horizons as they go well beyond the norm. This program is expected to launch in 2023.
